Danny was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA. He started playing saxophone at age nine and was playing professionally by the age of fourteen. He played throughout High School in various jazz groups and orchestras, all while continuing private studies with Jeff Chambers. Taking an interest in percussion, Danny also studied briefly with local instructor Gary Sweigard and Professor Dale Rauschenburg at Towson University.

Danny's rock band experience started in 2001 with the Top 40 cover group Uncle Sweater Beans. The band broke up after a year but reformed in 2005 under the name USB 2.0 and played throughout Western P.A. In 2006, Danny toured in the UK with hip-hop recording artist Scribe. Danny is currently back at home attending the University of Pittsburgh.
